Hi there 👋

QUITTING
TOGETHER

You and someone close to you make a pact. One of you quits smoking for a week. The other gives up a habit of their own, so nobody does it alone.

1 video 15 to 20 seconds Shot on your phone Your own language
The idea

Nobody quits alone.

The first week is the hardest. What gets people through it is having someone in it with them.

“If you quit smoking, I'll quit ________.”

The pact is the whole film. It has to be clearly said out loud or clearly on screen. If a viewer misses the pact, the video has not worked.
No product placement. No brand. Anywhere. You show nothing, name nothing, hold nothing. That is a legal requirement, not a preference. We just want fun content between the two of you.
Your job

One shoot. Three formats.

You film one video, 15 to 20 seconds, with both of you on camera. Then you export it in the three formats below. One shoot, one edit, three exports.

9:16vertical
4:5feed
1:1square
All three are required. You deliver all of them, not just the vertical one. They all come from the same edit, so it is exporting, not reshooting.
You post nothing. Not on your channels, not anywhere. Your account is never tagged or named. We handle all of that.
The other half of the pact

Pick your bad habit.

Whoever is not quitting smoking gives something up too. It comes from one of these three.

Gaming

“I'll quit playing until 3am.”

Alarm snoozing

“I'll quit hitting snooze five times.”

Doomscrolling

“I'll quit scrolling in bed.”

We will confirm which one is yours before you film, so no two videos repeat each other.
How to build it

Three beats.

1

The pact

Open with a hook, then straight into the agreement. One quits smoking for a week, the other gives up their habit in support.

2

The struggle, or the result

Pick one. The struggle: a craving, a temptation, one of you getting the other through it. The result: the two of you making it to the end of the week.

3

The message

Tell people to talk to their pharmacist or tabacologist for quitting advice. Say it out loud, or leave it to the end card we send you.

Tone

Light, warm, yours.

Playful, never heavy or preachy. Tease each other. Joke about how hard it will be. Say it in your own words, the way you actually talk.

✓ Yes to

  • Candid and funny. Your real reaction to the week.
  • Teasing each other, warmly.
  • Honest but easy. Admitting why you need this.

✗ No to

  • Slapstick or over-acting. If it feels put on, it is wrong.
  • Making fun of smokers, or of anyone quitting. Not even as a joke.

Tone references, for feel only, not to copy: candid · teasing · honest

KEEP BOTH
FACES + TEXT
IN HERE
LEAVE CLEAR
FOR SUBTITLES
Framing is what people get wrong.

Your video goes from vertical to square and 4:5. So frame wide. If one of you sits at the very edge, you get cropped out.

Keep the bottom third free of text. Subtitles go there.
The rules

No brand. Anywhere.

This is a film about quitting, not a product ad. That is a legal line, so these are firm.

✓ You can

  • Encourage people to quit or try a seven day challenge.
  • Talk about cravings, triggers and motivation.
  • Show how much support helps.
  • Point people to a pharmacist or tabacologist.

✗ You cannot

  • Name or show any brand, packaging or product.
  • Mention gums, sprays, patches, or hint at a product.
  • Make any health claim or quote success rates.
  • Show cigarettes or vapes.
  • Leave any logo on show: clothing, drinks, phone, background.
  • Swear or use bad language, even bleeped.
  • Nudity, revealing outfits or anything suggestive.
  • Alcohol, drugs, filming while driving, or children on camera.
  • Politics, religion or anything divisive.
Say “smoking”, never “vaping”. And before you send it, ask yourself: would this video still make sense if no brand existed? If yes, you are safe.
Dates and money

The timeline.

Before you film
Send us your idea in a line or two. Much easier to fix then than after.
9 September
First cut to us. This is the version the client reviews.
21 September
Final files, all three formats. Fixed by the client, cannot move.
Your fee

The amount agreed with you in writing, covering both of you. Paid in full within 48 hours of your final files being approved, by Wise or bank transfer in euro.

Usage

Paid ads on the brand's own channels in Belgium, for one year. You post nothing. You stay free to work with anyone else.

Anything unclear, ask before you film. We would much rather answer now.

Thank you for doing this one with us.
